Navigate the top menu bar
What Lists, Notifications, Search, and Admin do, and who sees each one.
The dark bar across the top of every Bricks screen holds the tools you use most, whatever page you're on.
What's in the top bar
- Lists: open your saved lists (filtered views of your data) and your favorites. Available to everyone. See Find and use lists.
- Notifications (bell): your in-app alerts. A badge shows how many you haven't dismissed yet. Available to everyone. See Check and dismiss notifications.
- Search: find a service request, piece of equipment, location, user, or agreement from anywhere. Available to everyone. See Search Bricks.
- Admin (gear): organization settings, users, costs, workflows, and service providers. Only Customer Organization Admins see this. See The Admin menu.
- Your photo or initials: your profile, preferences, and notification settings. See Configure your profile and notifications.
Don't see the Admin gear? That's expected if you're not a Customer Organization Admin. Ask an admin in your organization if you need something changed there. See User roles explained.
