Edit a location and set its hierarchy

Update a location's details and nest it under or above other locations.

Locations can be nested into a hierarchy (for example, a shop with a storage room and an electrical closet beneath it). Set this up from the location's detail page.

Steps

  1. From the Locations list, click the location's Number to open its detail page.
  2. Click the pencil icon next to the name to edit the name, number, address, and other details.
  3. Open the Hierarchy tab (below the Service Requests History panel).
  4. Under Parent Location, click Assign to place this location beneath another, or the ✕ to remove a parent.
  5. Under Sub-locations, click Assign to nest other locations beneath this one.
