Show a Saved List in your Work view
Favorite a List and it becomes a Work List you can switch to on the job.
The Work List dropdown on the Work screen does not show every saved List in your organization. It shows exactly two things:
- Assigned Work — always present, always the default. These are the open requests assigned to you.
- Favorite Lists — the saved Lists you have personally favorited. Nothing else appears here.
This is the step most people miss: a saved List will not show up in Work until you favorite it. Building the List isn't enough, and neither is someone sharing it with you. Favoriting is what puts it in the dropdown.
Favoriting is personal. It changes only your own Work view, so you can favorite a Shared List without affecting anyone else.
Steps:
- Click Lists in the left navigation. A panel slides in from the right showing every saved List you can see.
- Narrow the panel if you need to — search by name, or use the Service Request, Personal, and Shared chips. The green badge on each row shows how many records currently match that List.
- Click the heart ♡ at the right of the row. It fills in and the tooltip changes to Remove from favorites.
- Close the panel and click Work in the left navigation.
- Open the Work List dropdown on the right. Your List now appears under the Favorite Lists heading.
- Select it. The Work List below fills with that List's requests.
To remove a List from Work, click the filled heart again. The List drops out of the dropdown but is not deleted.
Don't have a List to favorite yet? The fastest route is from Work itself: click Advanced Search to open the Service Requests table pre-filtered to your open work, adjust the Filters and Columns until you have the set you want, then click + Save as a new list. Name it, choose Personal or Shared, and save. Then favorite it using the steps above. See Filter, sort, and save views in any table for the full explanation of Lists.
Tip: The dropdown selection resets to Assigned Work every time you reload the Work screen, so reselect your List at the start of each session. Favoriting persists — only the current selection resets.
