Create a preventive maintenance schedule

A Schedule creates service requests on a recurring basis — for preventive maintenance or routine tasks. Schedules live under Service → Service Schedules.

Steps

1. Click Create on the Service Schedules page (or Create → Schedule in the left nav) to open the wizard.
2. Schedule Configuration — name it and set the recurrence (frequency, start date, repeat pattern, Avoid Weekends, and what to do if the previous request isn't finished).
3. Service Request Basics — name the generated request and select the asset or location it targets.
4. Assignment & Properties — set the assignee, priority, and tags.
5. Advanced Options — preventive settings and due dates.
6. Review & Save.

Shortcut: From a piece of equipment's Options menu, choose Schedule Preventive Maintenance to start a schedule already tied to that asset.
